A supplier who says the brand is American is telling you nothing you can put in a contract. The only useful statement names the public SKU, the revision it applies to, and the evidence behind it.

What a statement has to name to be usable
If any row is missing, the statement is marketing.

Where a program requires a specific domestic-content determination, Micro Motion will produce it for the named configuration and revision, or say plainly that it cannot. Ask for it in a U.S. supply-chain review, which returns a current-state source map, the lead-time and minimum-order risks, the localization candidates, and what each candidate would actually take.

Tooling
Molds, fixtures, winding and assembly tooling, and the gauges that prove the result. This is the long-lead item and usually the one that decides whether the case closes.

Qualification
First-article inspection, performance characterization, life and environmental testing against the same acceptance criteria as the incumbent, on a sample size the program will accept.

Revision control
A localized part is a new controlled revision, or a new SKU when interchangeability or performance changes. It is never a silent substitution inside an existing number.

Change notice before shipment, with the evidence package, so your change-control process runs before the parts arrive rather than after a line stop.

A commercial case that survives volume
Tooling amortization, unit cost at the real annual volume, and the inventory position during transition. If the case only works at a volume you do not have, the honest answer is not yet.
