A guide, when one exists here, is longer than an article and narrower than the library: one mechanism, carried from its load model through selection, a worked example with stated assumptions, and a qualification plan you could hand to a test engineer.
The articles cover the physics and the manufacturing behind those decisions, and the application library covers the mechanisms. A guide is what happens when both are finished for one mechanism at once, and none has reached that state.
